creative director / designer

james dean conklin

is founder and director of greenhead - james has a non-linear career beginning in traditional media - monoprint, painting, illustration - and has morphed into animation art thru time w/ the viacom family: mtv, nickelodeon, noggin, comedy central; sidebars into video software training (w/ total training), video production and documentary in the middle east has brought james dean to a part-time faculty position at parson’s school of design, as well deep into production on a series of documentaries about the environment...

‘we’re in a blue and orange house on a street next to some train tracks by the hudson river in hastings new york. the scene in town is quaint, spirited, quiet, smart, restless...’

elisa and james got hitched in 2007 and merged their respective production assets; elisa had been doing business under the name ‘ezound, inc.’ - while james had ‘greenhead’ as his nom de bill. with a big plate of environmentally themed projects on hand, greenhead stuck...

together, james and elisa actually cover the skills we say they do - video production, animation, editorial design, video and film effects, broadcast design, audio recording, videography, general production, print design, packaging - a good range of synergetic skills and abilities...

hopefully we can do some work for you!
